Folks move to Vermont from all across the country and find the end of their first or second winter can be challenging to make connections with other community members. Organizations across Vermont are banding together to declare March, "Invite a New Vermonter to Dinner Month."

How does it work?

Anyone interested in taking part should fill out the form below. The host will be given a gift card to the restaurant of their choice. All we need, is an email with your reservation confirmation, and how many people will be in attendance. The Gift Card will cover $25 per person attending the meal. We would love to keep money local and host meals around Rutland County! If you do not know a "new Vermonter" or are new to the area, we will match people for meals.

If you would like to take someone or a family who is new to the area please select the "Host" option. If you have personally invited an individual or family, please write their name in the, "If you have invited a family, please list their names," space below. You do not have to take someone to dinner, it can be breakfast, lunch, or coffee! The meal and location is your choice.

A "new Vermonter" is defined as anyone who relocated here within the past two years. If you recently relocated and would like to be connected with community members please select the "Guest" option.
