TOWN OF Hubbardton
Home of The Battle of Hubbardton
Hubbardton is best known for the Battle of Hubbardton of 1777, the only Revolutionary War Battle to be fought entirely in Vermont. Today, you can visit the battlefield where the outnumbered Americans prevailed against the British, and visit the museum that details its place in the nation’s history. After taking in some history, campers can enjoy the peace and quiet Half Moon State Park, set on Half Moon Pond, with waterfront lean-tos and cabins.
