Mendon is situated on the Long Trail at the base of Killington Mountain, from which hikers and skiers can access a spectacular peak from their choice of trails. The town offers a peaceful homebase to southern Vermont’s best features, including the Pico Mountain, the city of Rutland, and Chittenden Reservoir.
