Where Farmland and Mountains Mingle
In the northwestern corner of Rutland County sits Sudbury, Vermont, a town of about 500 people where small farms dot the rolling landscape. In the center of Sudbury, just past the intersection with Rte. 73, pull over at the very Instagrammable Congregational Church, which was built in 1803 and doubles as the town hall. Then drive a few miles south and visit Understory Farm, an organic flower farm that is completely powered by draft horses.
