Lake St. Catherine and Little Lake
Swimmers and kayakers, rejoice. Wells, Vermont is lucky to have not one, but two gorgeous bodies of water: Little Lake and Lake St. Catherine. Launch your vessel at the Fish and Game station between the two lakes, then keep your eyes pealed; blue herons, ring bill gulls, red tail hawks, pileated woodpeckers, loons and even bald eagles are commonly spotted here.
