The Relocate To Rutland County promotion is presented by the Chamber Of Economic Development Of The Rutland Region.

The promotional period will begin on August 6, 2021 and will run through December 31, 2021, or while supplies last.

In order to be eligible to receive the benefits and incentives of the Relocate To Rutland County promotion, you:

1) You must currently reside outside of Rutland County, Vermont and be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident (“Green Card Holder”). You must be eligible to work and live in the United States (proof of residency will be required).

2) You must have the ability to relocate to Rutland County, Vermont.

3) You must complete the interest form on this page https://realrutland.com/concierge/ on a date within the active term of this promotion stated as August 6, 2021 through December 31, 2021. To be eligible, you must check the box where it states that you would like to be entered into the Relocate To Rutland County promotion.

4) You must relocate and move to a town within Rutland County, VT and become a Vermont State Resident with primary residence in Rutland County, VT. The move must take place within 6 months of completing the concierge interest form located on this page: https://realrutland.com/concierge/.

5) You must become a resident of Vermont and file your income tax returns in the State of Vermont. The definition of a Vermont resident can be found here: (https://tax.vermont.gov/individuals/income-tax-returns/who-needs-to-file/resident

6) You must be 18 years or older.

Recipients must meet all criteria above and must provide proof of residency following the move to Rutland County within six months of completing the interest form. Proof of Residency criteria can be found here: https://dmv.vermont.gov/licenses/identity-documents/vermont-residency

Restrictions may apply. There is no cash value to this promotion. Promotional value is an estimated equivalent of $2,212USD as indicated below. Limited to thirty (30) incentive package recipients annually. Limited to one (1) incentive package per household. Rewards, benefits and incentives are non-transferable. The program cannot aid an applicant in the acquisition of any work visas, etc. The promotion may be terminated at any time.

This information system is administered by Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region. By submitting the form, you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions to facilitate and confirm eligibility to receive incentives. The privacy notice along with the information policy govern our dealings with you and what Personal Data we collect from you. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not proceed.

Individual data subjects covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can withdraw consent at any time; however, the withdrawal of consent does not make any prior processing of Personal Data by CEDRR illegal.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in the Relocate To Rutland County Promotion, administrated by Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (“Program”), you acknowledge and agree to the following

(1) Participants interested in receiving the incentive benefits must comply with the Terms and Conditions and (a) relocate to Rutland County and become a Vermont State resident within six (6) months of completing the interest form; (b) will be required to provide proof of residency (c) will receive, after 6 months of full-time residence in Rutland County Vermont, program incentives including:

  • 2 lift-tickets to Killington Resort ($330 value.)
  • 3 months free at the MINT Makerspace ($150 value.)

(d) be required to abide by all program Terms and Conditions, including anti-harassment policies; and (e) continue to meet and abide by the program eligibility requirements.

(3) Program Terms and Conditions means (a) these Program terms, (b) all policies and procedures published in any manner by the Program, and (c) any other terms and conditions imposed by the Program and/or Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (“CEDRR”) relating to the Program.

(4) By participating in the Relocate To Rutland County program, you:

(a) represent and warrant that (i) you have read, and agree to be bound by, the program Terms and Conditions; (ii) you are willing to provide proof of eligibility, and (iii) certify that all of the information provided is accurate and complete;

(b) consent to the use of your name and/or likeness by Real Rutland and CEDRR for promotional purposes (whether online, in print or through any other media now known or hereafter developed), without additional compensation or authorization unless prohibited by law;

(c) agree (i) to be bound by the interpretation of the program Terms and Conditions made by CEDRR (ii) that all decisions made by CEDRR are final in all matters relating to the program, and (iii) the program has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes;

(e) agree that submitting an interest form does not entitle you to any incentive or consideration whatsoever and that program eligibility requirements must be met as determined by CEDRR before any program incentives are delivered;

(f) agree that intentional misstatements or falsification may result in disqualification of consideration from the program;

(g) agree that the program reserves the right to require a confidential background check (i) to help ensure that the use of any recipients in advertising or publicity for the program will not bring CEDRR, the program, or the Rutland County, Vermont into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the program, as determined by the program in its sole and absolute discretion, and (ii) to further validate that the selection of any recipient to relocate to Rutland County, VT will not violate applicable U.S. or State laws or regulations; and

(h) agree to release and hold harmless CEDRR, its respective board members, officers, directors, employees, and agents and affiliates (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation or application in the program or receipt or use of any incentive, including, but not limited to: (i) any technical errors that may prevent a participant from submitting the form; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in the program; (iii) printing errors; (iv) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail or email; (v) errors in the administration of the program or the processing of applications; or (vi) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in the program or being a recipient in the program.

(5) If any recipient has been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor of moral turpitude or the program determines in its sole discretion that selection of a recipient to relocate to Rutland County, VT or use recipient in advertising might reflect unfavorably on CEDRR and its program, the recipient’s selection for relocation to Rutland County, VT may be revoked.

(6) If program recipient is not verified as eligible, the incentive package will be forfeited. Eligible program recipients must claim incentives within thirty (30) days of being notified. Incentives included in package expire after one year and therefore must be claimed within the year received.

(7) If for any reason CEDRR needs to pause or stop the program, including lack of funding, pandemic, civil unrest, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the program, CEDRR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, pause or terminate the program, including pending eligible participants.

(8) A recipient’s rights and obligations under the program are not assignable, transferable or descendible. The program incentives have no cash value. No tax withholdings of any kind shall be made and recipients will be responsible.

(9) CEDRR and its program does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, marital or family status, pregnancy, veteran status, service in the uniformed services (as defined in state and federal law), religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, or gender expression.

(10) These program Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, with jurisdiction being in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the State of Vermont.
