Rutland County is Home to Community Spirit
As we see a steady stream of people moving to our region, they consistently tell us while researching their move, Rutland County’s community spirit sold them. And we would have to agree, it is special and hard to find elsewhere.
Here in Rutland County, people often involve themselves in community efforts to give back to the region they call home. Not only will you see these individuals volunteering at local organizations, but residents are constantly starting new initiatives to make our community an even better place to live, work, and play.
Coming up on April 30, The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is hosting the Fourth Annual Real Rutland Feud. A game show based on the popular television game show, “Family Feud.” Instead of families, teams are made up of local organizations and businesses. This annual fundraiser supports CEDRR’s Regional Marketing Initiative – Real Rutland.

Events and initiatives like this are continuously happening. You can also expect an incredible turnout because “Rutlanders” know this kind of fun supports a good cause. Other initiatives that have brought tremendous community spirit include Winter Fest, Rutland’s “Newly”Wed Game, and the Gift of Life Marathon – just to name a few.
The individuals and families who live here are proud to call Rutland County home, which is why our sense of community is so strong and constantly growing.
