Are you considering relocating? Are you interested in moving to Vermont? This weekend getaway could be your opportunity to explore Rutland County during the breathtaking fall foliage season! The giveaway is for single people, couples, and families who are serious about making the Green Mountain State their new home.

What is included?

This trip includes a free stay at the Killington Grand Hotel and money for dining at local restaurants, October 12-15, 2023. Once the winners are selected, their activities will be planned based on what they are interested in doing while here. Choose between guided or solo explorations through our mountains and downtowns, talk with a realtor, visit area schools, and meet locals who also fell in love with this unique part of Vermont. We will coordinate meetings and activities. We will give you money toward a rental car and gas for the rented car. You are responsible for your airfare, booking the flights to and from, and scheduling the rental car. Of course, if you have questions or would like advice, we are happy to help guide you!

 

How do I enter?

Fill out the form at the bottom of this website. You will receive a confirmation email that asks you to schedule a meeting with a Real Rutland Concierge Program Coordinator. You must interview via Zoom with a coordinator for eligibility. During this brief Zoom meeting, we will discuss why you are interested in Vermont, where you are in the relocation process, and a little bit about yourself.

What is the timeline?

We are accepting entries until 11:59:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time on August 11, 2023. The final day to interview with a Concierge Coordinator will be August 25, 2023. The five potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on August 29, 2023, and contacted. If a winner cannot accept, we will select a new winner in their place.

Have you hosted this event before?

Yes! The fall of 2022, was the first Real Rutland Weekend Getaway. Four families from California, Texas, North Carolina, and New York traveled here to explore Rutland County. They spent the weekend taking part in a county-wide scavenger hunt, going to a corn maze,

taking a gondola to the top of Killington Mountain, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, meeting locals, house hunting, visiting area schools, and discovering all Vermont has to offer.
