Real Rutland Mountain Bike Weekend Getaway
June 16-18, 2023
Do you love mountain biking? Have you ever thought about relocating to Vermont? This Weekend Getaway could be your opportunity to explore Rutland County and enjoy mountain biking at Killington Resort and the Slate Valley Trails during the summer season. Enjoy a free stay at the Killington Grand Hotel and vouchers for local restaurants. Explore our mountains and downtowns, discover delicious food and small businesses, and meet locals who also fell in love with this unique part of Vermont. This weekend is for single people, couples, and two friends who are serious about mountain biking and potentially making The Green Mountain State their new home.
This giveaway has ended. Stay tuned for an announcement with the names of the winners and future weekend giveaways.
DAY 1 - Friday, arrival by 4:30 pm:
- Free rental car is available for each pair
- Guests will receive free accommodations at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel
- Meet & Greet Dinner with local hosts on the first evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at The Lookout Tavern in Killington, Vermont
- Contest winners will receive money for all meals and information to redeem mountain biking tickets at above Meet & Greet Dinner
DAY 2 - Saturday, Mountain Bike Adventure:
- Mountain biking at Killington Resort or Slate Valley Trails
- Area Events:
- 13th Annual Vermont Adaptive Charity Challenge
- Rutland County Pride Festival 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on your own (money provided)
DAY 3 - Sunday, More mountain biking and Departure:
- Mountain biking at Killington Resort or Slate Valley Trails
- Breakfast on your own (money provided)
